Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $15 ($17 after 3 week training course)

• Operate slitter to meet production, waste, and quality standards.
• Maintain thorough production reports and document process waste and recyclables.
• Ensure safety and proper handling of raw materials in preparation for the process.
• Conduct quality checks periodically and verify production quantities meet customer needs.
• Adjust machines for changeovers and monitor input/output for accuracy and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the requirements of the position.
• Willingness to abide by all plant practices and procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED, with a year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions for machine setup and operation.
• Basic mathematical skills for simple calculations.
